Orders and Payment

Orders to be shipped to destinations within the continental United States may be placed either through the secure shopping cart, by mail or by email. The shopping cart or email are the fastest methods. If you choose to order by email, do not include your credit card information, as it is not secure by that means. We will respond to your email with an invoice that includes link to a secure terminal where you can then safely enter credit card information for processing.

Orders to be shipped outside continental United States require additional shipping charges. Please first query starcrafts@comcast.net. We will check the shipping charges to your location for the weight of your order, and then send you an ivoice containing a secure link through which you can make your credit card payment.

Be sure to include contact information (including your phone number or email address), so that we can contact you without delay, in the event that we have questions about your order. If you are sending a mail order with a dollar check or money order, please include the shipping charges as stated within the shipping table further down on this page for orders to be shipped within continental United States. For orders to be shipped outside continental United States, please either include estimated additional shipping charges to your location, or query us first for charges.

Throughout the site you will find Add to Cart buttons next to various offerings that can be purchased retail. Some pages (such as the galleries) will not have buttons, but will have a link to a corresponding shopping page where you can purchase the images as greeting cards or high resolution laser prints. You can view what is in your shopping cart at any time by pressing the View Cart button on the navigation bar to the left of this page. At Check Out you will have the option of paying through a PayPal account, or by major credit card, as is shown on the PayPal icon on the navigation bar just below View Cart.

Some of the Add to Cart buttons are configured so that you will be prompted at Check Out to enter a text note. This is necessary so that we can fill orders for personalized products such as the color Art Charts. Please be sure that you give all of the information requested or we will not be able to complete your order. PayPal will give us the email of the order origin, so we can contact you if necessary, but you wil receive your order much sooner if you take care in entering all information that we need on your note. The number of characters on the PayPal prompt are limited. Following is a more complete information of exactly what we need from you.

When prompted to enter a Note for Name and Birth Date, Time and Place:

Name: Enter the name exactly as you want it printed on the chart or poster.

Date of Birth: Month-Day-Year is the standard order used in the USA, but elsewhere day-month-year is often used. To be sure we have it right, please use the standard 3 letter abbreviation for the month—Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec—and enter all four digits for the birth year, such as 1958 or 2001

Time of Birth: For any product that uses a full horoscope chart, we must know whether the time is AM or PM. 12:00 can be either midnight or noon—if you don't' specify we won't know! You can use 24-hour notation, if you wish (such as 16:30) or if you use 12 hour notation, be sure you include AM or PM!

Place of Birth: Enter city and state for USA. Enter city and country for births outside the USA. If there is more than one town in your state or country with the same name, include county or province information, or enter the longitude and latitude.

When prompted to enter a Note for a signed book:

Maria will sign any of her books upon request. If you want to the book signed to a specific individual, please include the name to be used in your note.

Shipping Rates for Continental United States Only

PayPal will total your order and add flat rate shipping charges that we have set based upon the dollar value of your order. They are:

The above shipping charges will cover Priority Mail for most products, with the possible exception of heavy book boxes. If the shipping charges do not cover Priority Mail charges for the weight of the package, we reserve the right to choose First Class, Media Mail or Parcel Post instead. We will ship by the fastest method possible within the shipping costs paid.

Returns Policy

No returns on personalized items, including books signed to an individual, unless we the personalization is in error (differs from specified instructions on your order). Returns will be accepted for full refund of the actual price (not including shipping charges), provided the item is returned within one month of the date we shipped it to you, and is clean, undamaged and in resalable condition. Shipping charges for sending us the returned item are your responsibilty. (We will refund shipping charges only if the return is due to our error.)
